Are Blue Bunny products made with natural colors and flavors?
Blue Bunny has begun transitioning key products, like Soft scoopables and Mini Swirls, to be made with colors and flavors from natural sources - the same fun treats families love with updated ingredients that reflect evolving family tastes and expectations.
Why doesn’t Strawberry Shortcake Mini Swirls feature a natural flavors claim?
Good eye! Strawberry Shortcake Mini Swirls contain citric acid, an ingredient derived from citrus fruits that helps balance flavor and keep the product fresh. Due to the use of this ingredient, we do not make a “natural flavors” claim, but it’s still the same delicious treat families know and love.

Where are Blue Bunny products made?
Blue Bunny is rooted in Le Mars, Iowa, proudly known as the Ice Cream Capital of America, where we source fresh milk from local dairy farmers located in and around our hometown. While our headquarters remain in the heartland, Blue Bunny has additional plants in Dunkirk, New York and Henderson, Nevada, where our teams work with trusted distribution partners to bring its frozen treats to families nationwide.
What is a frozen dairy dessert?
Frozen dairy dessert is similar to traditional ice cream and uses many of the same ingredients like real milk, cream, and sugar. The key difference is a slightly lower percentage of dairy fat, which allows Blue Bunny to create fun textures and formats, like Soft scoopables, that families love. We are constantly keeping our consumers at the center of everything we do to continue delivering delicious innovation to surprise and delight.
Why was my favorite flavor discontinued?
Every year Blue Bunny updates its product lineup to make room for new flavors and innovations. If one of your favorites disappears, let us know! You can reach us at https://www.bluebunny.com/contact-us.
What are stabilizers and emulsifiers?
Stabilizers and emulsifiers help keep frozen desserts smooth and creamy by preventing water crystals from forming. These ingredients play an important role in maintaining the texture and consistency families expect from Blue Bunny treats.
